How to Apply to the Environmental Science Program

REGISTERING FOR 2019

Note also that in order for your student to participate in the Program, you must provide the following forms AND a doctor's exam sheet (dated within past 2 years):

1. Consent Form/Release from Liability (1 page);
2. Photo/Video Release Form (1 page);
3. Immunization Record (Staff & Students under 18) + Special Activities Permission Form (3 pages); and
4. Authorization to Administer Medication to a Camper Form (1 page).

You can download these forms from the forms page. The completed forms can be scanned and uploaded with your online registration or mailed to David Backer, Executive Director, Environmental Science Program, P.O. Box 600292, Newton, MA 02460.

The Environmental Science Program is open to students who will be entering grades 7, 8, 9, or 10 by September 2019. If you have any questions about the Program or the plans for Summer of 2019, please contact us at contact@newtonenvisci.org.

Financial Aid
Financial aid is available in the form of partial scholarships donated by the Newton Conservators, Inc., Green Newton, and other organizations and individuals (see our Supporters page). Aid will be awarded based on need and availability. This program must comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the City of Newton Health Department.
